CORPORATE INFORMATION CONTACTS

Plon

A general publisher founded in 1845, Plon is one of France’s major non-fiction publishers, with successes such as L’Obsession anti-américaine by Jean-François Revel, La guerre des Bush by Eric Laurent and De Gaulle, mon père, the best-selling book in all categories in 2004.
Plon also publishes fiction: L’Amande, an erotic narrative by Nedjma, a Muslim woman, recorded substantial earnings from the sale of foreign rights in some 15 countries.

The firm is also a well-reputed publisher of foreign literature, with authors such as Norman Mailer, Salman Rushdie, Edmund White, Donna Tartt, Ryszard Kapucsinski and Hari Kunzru.
Plon’s reputation is based on a catalogue featuring many works by political figures and renowned authors. This editorial strategy is combined with a freedom of tone and speech that the firm is particularly proud of, and on which it has built its success.
